ShopperPress: The Beautiful Shopping Cart Beast!

ShopperPress is a world class, professional, and beautiful shopping cart solution for WordPress.

When it comes to choosing a shopping cart solution, a WordPress user has many several options. The stiff competition among the software authors is great for users, but with other options available for free, is ShopperPress worth its price? You’re about to find out!

Ease of Use and Installation

ShopperPress uses the same standard screens as other shopping cart plugins. So, if you’ve used another shopping cart solution, you’ll find this some what familiar. If you haven’t, you don’t need to worry because ShopperPress is fully documented and supported (more on that later). What sets ShopperPress apart is the beautifully designed themes that it ships with. Your purchase of ShopperPress includes a bunch of great shopping cart themes.

Even though ShopperPress includes all of the features and admin screens that other plugins boast, ShopperPress is not technically a WordPress plugin. It is technically a theme.

So, to install ShopperPress, you copy its files to the themes folder, and activate it from the themes admin panel of WordPress, exactly like you would install another WordPress theme. To make sure that everything goes smoothly, ShopperPress installation is documented on the included manual.

Supported Payment Gateways

Unfortunately, when it comes to payment gateway support, ShopperPress could use some more development. It currently supports PayPal,  WorldPay, SecureTrading, and NoChex. But the experience of configuring these payment gateways is pretty crude. That’s not to say that it won’t work; it will.

Selling Digital Content

ShopperPress does allow the ability to sell downloadable content. But you cannot have a combination of digital and physical products in your store. You can either use ShopperPress to sell one type or the other.

Documentation and Support

One of the best thing about ShopperPress is the professional support and documentation behind it. Mark Fail, the developer of ShopperPress, provides timely, consistent, and professional support in the dedicated forum. Posting in the forum is the best way to get support, but you can also contact the developer directly if you like.

In addition to this support, ShopperPress comes with a pretty comprehensive instructions manuals that can help you get started with the various tasks of setting up your online store.

Pricing

VIP License ($69)

This license allows you to install ShopperPress on 3 websites. It also entitles you to 6 months of upgrades.

Developer License ($175)

This license allows you to install on any number of websites! And it entitles you to a full year of support upgrades.

Refund Policy

A straightforward 30-days no-questions-asked refund policy. I love it! This means you can try the software risk free. If it doesn’t fit your particular needs or if, for whatever reason, you don’t need it anymore, you can simply request a refund, and it will be “cheerfully” issued. If you’re requesting a refund because of a technical problem, the developer just asks that you give him a chance to correct it, if you want!
